Abstract:

One of the biggest problems in the Philippine Educational System is the implementation of the controversial Spanish Law. This law requires twenty-four units of Spanish as a requisite for graduation in the courses of Law, Foreign Affairs, Liberal Arts, Commerce and Education. The bill was signed by President Carlos P. Garcia in 1957.
