The Value Orientations of the Scientist

Salvador R. Gonzalez

Abstract:

The edifice of human science has been built by two types of men, one complementing the other: the theoreticians and the experimentalists. Both deal with science, but their perspectives may be slightly different. It is with this assumption that I venture to speak to you as a theoretician on the meaning of science and the value orientations of the scientist in this center of experimental research.
