Articles on Student Power

Gabriel H. Connon

Abstract:

Social Sciences study, when brought to bear on contemporary problems, will demonstrate quite well both the strengths and weaknesses of society. This is pretty much just what the book Student Politics, does. It is a somewhat uneven collection of essays whose principal virtue seems to be the publication of often illuminating results which are discovered by the statistical and other kinds of systematic analysis of the various stereotypes about student behavior. However, some essays are almost unreadable and mo.st tiring because of the intensely turgid style, needlessly over-technical vocabulary, and the belaboring of Points which are obvious to even the most casual observers.
