Mini Wind Turbine Mounted on the Top of Vehicle for Power Generation

Abstract:

The main objective of this paper is to describe the experimental study of a stand-alone wind turbine mounted on top of a vehicle1. The study aimed at providing another source of energy for electricity generation for vehicle use. Specifically, the researchers aim to determine the amount of voltage generated by the wind turbine mounted on top of a vehicle in the different speed of the vehicle, to determine the charging capacity of the system, and to compare the charging performance between the Mini Wind Turbine mounted on the top of a vehicle and electricity supplied from the grid.
