Abstract:

This study aimed to design solar panel and wind turbine that will provide electricity to pump water in Lakeview Heights Subdivision, Barangay La Mesa. The design of renewable alternative source of power for Calamba Water District pumping station in Lakeview Heights Subdivision, Barangay La Mesa utilizes two sources of energy which are solar and wind energy to minimize the power consumption in pumping station of CWD and lessen the interruption of water distribution. It is another way of using and incorporating renewable energy technology to reduce carbon footprint.
