Coping Mechanisms of Capitol University Working Students with their Academic and Personal Stressors

Abstract:

This study wanted to find out the coping mechanisms of the academic and personal stressors of the Capitol University Working Students for the First Semester School Year 2006-2007.


Specifically, the study sought to answer the following questions:

1.What is the profile of the students in terms of their:
     a.Age
     b.Sex
     c.Number of units taken

2.What are the common academic and personal stressors of the working students? What is the intensity level of their stressors?

3.What coping mechanisms do the working students of Capitol University manifest in terms of academic stressors?

4.What coping mechanisms do the working students of Capitol University manifest in terms of personal stressors?
