Abstract:

The primary purpose of the study is to determine the stressors and stress management of a working parent while studying at College of Education in Capitol University of S.Y. 2006-2007.

 

Specifically the study sought to answer the following questions:

 

1. What is the profile of the working parent while studying at College of Education in Capitol University in terms of the following:
1.1 Family Size
1.2 Family Income
1.3 Position of Work
1.4 Place of Work

 

2. What are the levels of stressors of the working parent while studying at the College of Education in Capitol University?
2.1 Academic Stressors
2.2 Occupational Stressors
2.3 Personal stressors

 

3. How do the working parents cope with the stress level while studying at the College of Education in Capitol University?
3.1 Academic Adjustment
3.2 Occupational Adjustment
3.3 Personal Adjustment

 

4. How do the working parents differ in the level of stressors and stress adjustment level in terms of their profile?

 

5. Is there significant relationship between respondents profile and level of stressors and stress adjustment level of the working parent while studying at College of Education in Capitol University?
