Acceptability of Camias (Averrhoa bilimbi) with Calamansi (Citrofortunella microcarpa) as a Fruit drink

Abstract:

The primary purpose of the study was to investigate if camias with calamansi can be acceptable in fruit juice production. Primarily, the study attempted to determine the respondent’s level of acceptability of the products in terms of color, taste, appearance and odor. The respondents involved students from first year to fourth year of the various courses in main campus of the University of the Immaculate Conception. Thirty students’ served as the respondents of this study to test the acceptability of the product produce in terms of the criteria proposed in the survey form. Experimental type of research was done in this study and the data collection was done through the use of survey forms. Two outputs were created, product A and product B, the only difference between the two is that sugar is not present in product A. Result have shown that product B is more acceptable to the majority of the respondents
