The Perception of Restaurateurs on the Effects of Implementation of Davao City Ordinance No. 1627 – Banning of Alcoholic Beverage

Abstract:

The purpose of this research was to identify the perspective of the restaurateurs on the implementation of Davao City ordinance no. 1627 which is the banning of the alcoholic beverages. Descriptive method of research was used in this investigation. Research questionnaire was utilized by 15 restaurateurs from different resto bars who participated in the study. Frequency, percentage, mean, pearson r/t-test and probability are the statistical used in this study. Results have shown that there is a significant difference on the perspective of the restaurateurs on the implementation of liquor ban in Davao city in terms of sex and type of operation. Based on the result of the study it has been concluded that the implementation of the liquor ban can affect the operation of the business. It was also found out that both sexes has the same perspective regarding this matter, however people that belong to different age level as different views regarding on the said implementation.
