Abstract:

The primary purpose of the study was to determine the level of preferences of the foreign tourist in choosing destination in Davao city in terms of service, facilities, accessibility, safety and food. Independent variable of this study is gender of the foreign tourists. Survey questionnaires were used in conducting the said study. Sixteen males and 14 females were chosen randomly. The results were carefully analyzed and computed and interpreted using mean, standard deviation and t-test where the level of significance is set at .05. The results showed that the level of preference of the foreign tourist has no significant differences when grouped by gender. It has been concluded that the level of preference of foreign tourist in choosing destinations in Davao City was average.
