Level of Knowledge and Attitude on Food Sanitation Practices of Carinderia Staff along Father Selga Street

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to examine the level of knowledge and attitudes on food sanitation practices of carinderia in Father Selga street; Davao City. The respondents involved were the food service staff/ employees from carinderia. Twenty three staff/ employees served as the respondents of the study. The study made use of descriptive method, and the data collection was done through the use of survey form. Pearson product moment was employed because the data are interval. Based on the respondents’ evaluation, the staff/ employees are very knowledgeable. They have excellent attitude and show an excellent practice about sanitation on food preparation. Further, there is a significant relationship between knowledge between sanitation and practices and also between attitude and practices of food staff.
