Abstract:

This study attempted to determine the poor reading comprehension and how the students' factor, teachers contribute to this reading problem.

 

Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions:

 

1. What is the profile of the 4th year students of CDONHS according to:

1.1 Sex
1.2 Language Spoken at home
1.3 Study habits
1.4 Parent's Educational attainment
1.5 Attitudes towards English
1.6 Parent's follow-up
1.7 Perceived Teacher's Teaching
