Organizational Climate, Organizational Leadership, Organizational Productivity, and Quality of Work, Life of Employees in the Life Insurance Industry in Davao Region

Abstract:

The effect of organizational climate, organizational leadership, organizational productivity, and quality of work life were investigated in this study. The participants were 302 regular and exclusive agents of the insurance company in Davao region. Five research questions and hypotheses were raised in the study. One valid and standardized instrument was administered to the participants. Pearson product correlation, multiple regression analysis and analysis of variance were used to analyse data at 0.05 level of significance. The respondents were favorable to the assumption that indicators in OC, OL and OP were important in the QWL. The outcome of the research indicated that only nine out of the fourteen indicators like structure, responsibility, identity, conflict, reward, challenges the process, encourage the heart, sales target and number of clients served had significant influence on quality of work life and the remaining indicators such as warmth, model the way, inspiring a shared vision, enabling other to act, and innovation had no significant influence on quality of work life.
