Abstract:

This descriptive-correlational research aimed to evaluate the level of anger management practices, relational skills and productivity of teachers in Cotabato Schools Division, Region XII. This study used a survey questionnaire to obtain the important data. The respondents were the 310 secondary school teachers selected through stratified random sampling. The statistical tools employed were frequency counts and percentage distribution, mean, Pearson r, regression and Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results revealed that teachers were predominantly female within the age range of 31-40 years old. Most of them had earned units in MA in Education. Generally, anger management among the respondents was low while relational skills were very high. Their level of productivity was very satisfactory. It was found that relational skills were the factor which contributed much to the control of anger that resulted to the very satisfactory productivity. It was also revealed that anger management was strongly correlated with relational skills and had an indirect significant correlation to productivity. Further, the results showed that both anger management and relational skills found to have no significant relationship with productivity. Finally, the relational skills were shown to be not a significant predictor of productivity.
