As communication and relationship with persons from various cultures have enlarged, ethnocentrism has been a problem and communication among students in different tribal groups become difficult and sometimes can cause trouble. This study employed quantitative correlational research design that aimed to determine the relationship between ethnocentrism and communication apprehension among 202 indigenous people students. This research study utilized two adopted questionnaires to test that level of ethnocentrism and communication apprehension among indigenous people students in the municipality of Malita. The result revealed that indigenous people students had done and experienced ethnocentrism sometimes. Moreover, it revealed that indigenous people students had done and experienced communication apprehension sometimes. Additionally, the study revealed that the higher the level of ethnocentrism, the more apprehension to communicate IP student experienced. Hence, intergroup ethnocentrism can best predict the communication apprehension of IP students.
