Antimicrobial Stewardship Program is an effective strategy to combat antimicrobial resistance which poses a great threat in the medical field. This study aimed to evaluate and enhance the antimicrobial stewardship program of a secondary hospital in Davao City. A descriptiveevaluative method was utilized as the research design. For its statistical tool, mean was utilized to interpret the data gathered. The respondents of this study consisted of 30 healthcare practitioners employed for at least six months in the institution. These respondents were directly involved with the prescription and management of antibiotic treatment being undertaken by admitted patients. The 30 respondents were comprised of six physicians, three pharmacists, fifteen nurses, and six other healthcare practitioners. The results of the study revealed that the respondents had high understanding about the importance of antimicrobial stewardship program. In terms of the status of the antimicrobial stewardship program in the research locale, it generated a moderate result which would mean that there was a stable foundation present in the facility. The product of this study may enhance antimicrobial stewardship program module tailored to fit the need of the research locale and in compliance with the procedures formulated and recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization.
