Acceptability and Marketability of Tomato, Carrot and Moth Beans as Flavors of Ice Cream

Abstract:
This study aimed to determine the Acceptability and Marketability of Cumtalia Ice Cream per
evaluation of the FSM Faculty members of MPC, ice cream producers and consumers from Marikina
City during the 2022-2023 Academic Year. The experimental method of research was used with
survey questionnaire as the data gathering instrument. The results revealed that the three groups of
respondents, namely Food Experts, Sellers, and Consumer had different evaluation as regards the
level of acceptability of the 25g and 75g proportion, while the 50g proportion was evaluated as Very
Acceptable by the three groups. In addition, the respondents evaluated the level of marketability of
the product as to Consumer Demand, Production Cost and Supply Availability as More Preferred.
Comments and suggestions were provided by the respondents to further improve the product.
