Abstract:
This paper explored the interrelated roles of text, author, and reader in the context of identity formation through literature.
Engaging with literary sources provides individuals with a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of themselves
and others by delving into diverse perspectives, experiences, and narratives. Literature serves as a powerful medium for
self-reflection, empathy, and personal growth. Authors' influences shape the text, while readers actively interpret and
connect with the content based on their identities. The interactive dialogue between text, author, and reader contributes to
the formation of personal and collective identities, expanding our understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
