Abstract:
This study attempted to develop
and evaluate a Competency-based Learning
Module (CBLM) in Basic 3D Structural
Modeling for Second Year Drafting
Technology Students of the Marikina
Polytechnic College. The developed CBLM in
Basic 3D Structural Modeling was evaluated
by Drafting Technology Instructors and
Industry Practitioners wherein a survey
questionnaire was used to gather the data
and covered the following key areas: content,
completeness, organization, usefulness, and
layout and design. The evaluations of the two
groups of respondents found that the
developed competency-based learning
module in Structural Modeling that observed
the following aspects which were content,
completeness, organization, usefulness, and
design and layout garnered a computed
overall weighted mean of 3.88 and 3.83
respectively which were both interpreted as
Strongly Agree.
