Abstract:
Vocational education is an important part of Chinese education, aiming at cultivating application-oriented technical talents, and is an important supplement to undergraduate education. As the object of vocational education, the learning status of college students is directly related to their own future development and the quality of China's applied skills talents. Chinese vocational college students are an important part of the future workforce, but their unique educational background and mental health status remain under-explored. This study aims to explore the relationship between positive psychological capital, learning engagement and social support, as these factors are critical to academic success and career development. Studies have shown that positive psychological capital, characterized by hope, optimism, resilience and self-efficacy, can improve learning engagement and academic achievement. In addition, social support from peers, teachers and families plays a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment and enhancing mental health. This study aims to provide valuable insights for educators and policymakers to develop targeted interventions to enhance the educational experience and career prospects of students in Chinese vocational colleges. At the same time, for vocational colleges, this research can guide the development of policies and programs that prioritize student well-being and create a supportive campus culture.
