Readiness, Impacts, and Challenges on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Among College Students in China
Wang Tongtong
Discipline: Education
Abstract:
This study focused on the readiness,
impact, and challenges on the use of artificial
intelligence (AI) among college students in China. It
utilized Chinese university students as the main survey
subjects, and used a questionnaire survey related to AI
learning Readiness, AI learning impact, and AI learning
challenges to analyze the relationship between AI used
for learning Readiness, the impact of AI tools used for
learning, and the challenges brought by AI assisted
learning. Findings show a significant relationship
between college students' AI readiness, AI impact, and
AI challenges. The deeper the student's AI Readiness,
the greater the impact AI can have on learning; the
deeper the readiness for AI learning, the more
challenges it brings; and, the greater the impact of AI
learning, the more challenges it brings. The study also
developed an AI learning enhancement plan for
universities and proposed suggestions for improving AI
learning from the perspectives of education
administrative authorities, university management,
teachers, and college students. This has important
practical significance for the high-quality development
of higher education in the AI era, providing reference
for the government to formulate education development
policies in the AI era.
