Abstract:

Despite the continuous advancement of technology and globalization, a decline in the active use of the Filipino language in schools has been observed. This study aimed to develop and test the effectiveness of the Support, Action, and Excellence intervention in enhancing the speaking skills of Senior High School students. The study employed a quasi-experimental design with an experimental group and a control group from a private school in Davao City. A researcher-made speaking assessment instrument was administered as both pre-test and post-test, and the data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
