An Implementation of Fuzzy Logic Algorithm in the Construction of Automatic Fish Feeding Mechanism

The researchers developed a system that provides food for the fish automatically for an extended period. The system is an implementation of fuzzy logic algorithm in constructing the fish feeding mechanism. In Fuzzy logic, crisp inputs are translated from the sensor into a linguistic description. These inputs are evaluated against a set of production rules. Whichever production rules are selected will generate a set of outputs. The parallel port serves as an interface between the computer system and the mechanized feeder.
