Abstract:

This study made an assessment of the effect of external faculty development program on teaching effectiveness covering a three-year period particularly school year 2004-2005 to school year 2007-2008.

It tried to know the difference between the teaching performance before and after external training. More particularly, it compared attendance to mean level of teaching performance of faculty before and after attendance to external training.

The study used t-test and mean computation of the faculty members’ performance ratings. The study came up with the finding that the faculty has a high level of teaching performance before and after the external training, however there was no significant difference between the teaching performance before and after the external training attended.
