The IAMURE International Journal of Marine Ecology as an integrative science, studies the basic structural and functional relationships within and among living populations and their physical-chemical environments in marine ecosystems. It focuses on specific organisms as well as on particular environments or physical settings. Topics include sea birds, fish, invertebrates, mammals, reptiles, fungi, plants and algae, microscopic life, marine habitats (intertidal shore, reefs, open ocean, deep sea and trenches).

The IAMURE International Journal of Marine Ecology is an international peer reviewed journal that provides a venue for scholars to publish their research findings for advocacy and utilization.
