Leadership Style of Schools in Division of Batangas City: Basis for Faculty Development Plan

Abstract:

The study assessed the leadership style, of schools in Division of Batangas City. The study involved 385 public elementary teachers as participants. The researcher found out that majority of the respondents are 40-49 years old, female, and collage graduate who have been teaching for 15 years and above. Variables in the leadership style in terms of authoritative, democratic, and facilitative were rated strongly agree, while situational rated as agree. There was also significant relationship existed and implies that the better the leadership styles. Thus, a faculty development plan has been proposed to help manage and further enhance the leadership style of public elementary teachers.
