VASILY VASILIEVITCH MARKHININ, PhD (Institute of Philosophy and Law, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences), is a professor of philosophy at Surgut State University. His research interests include ethnosociological studies, mythological and religious worldviews, philosophy of science, and ancient Greek philosophy. He has published papers in various journals in both Russian and English.
